The plastic free Christmas gift bags replace gift bags which are made from, contain or are packaged in plastic.
The gift bags and gift tags are made from recyclable card. The handles are made from cotton.
The amount of unnecessary plastic that is used at Christmas is staggering, with an estimated 35,877 tonnes of plastic being wasted each Christmas in the UK alone. That's where these plastic free Christmas gift bags are different. As they contain no plastic whatsoever, with the gift bags being made from recyclable materials and the handles being made from cotton, you can be sure that these gift bags are fully recyclable after use and help eliminate unnecessary waste being left behind.
The Christmas gift bags are 100% plastic free and packaged in a recyclable cardboard band.
When you have finished with the gift bags, they are 100% recyclable and compostable. Just remove the cotton handle and place the bag in your household recycling bin. The cotton handle can be recycled with textiles or placed in your compost bin. Alternatively, the whole bag with handles attached can be placed in your compost bin.

We also use Parcelforce Worldwide in partnership with General Logistics Systems (GLS) to deliver our customer orders to our European customers and where it’s more cost effective and in line with our environmental values, we use DHL Parcel UK.
We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
