Kraft paper tape, made in the UK.
This self-adhesive Paper Tape is made from Kraft paper and has a natural rubber adhesive. It is 100% plastic free, Vegan friendly, fully recyclable and compostable. Available in 24mm or 48mm widths, it can be used for wrapping presents, packing parcels, crafts and generally around the house. It’s the same tape that we use when shipping your orders!
Sticky tape, it’s a staple household product, so just think how much plastic tape there is still out there, hanging around in landfills. This Paper Tape provides an eco-friendly alternative to plastic tape. Made from sustainable 60gsm kraft paper, not from plastic, it’s available in 24mm and 48mm widths (with a 75mm core to fit all standard tape dispensers), and is water and solvent resistant. It’s strong, easy to tear (no more using your teeth!), can easily be written on and instantly sticks to both smooth and uneven surfaces.
The Paper Tape can be used for all kinds of applications around the house (whatever you’d use any type of sticky tape for really). It’s also suitable to use in cold storage, as it can be applied in low temperatures (around 5°C) and stored down to around -25°C. The great thing is, it’s fully recyclable and compostable, so can stay on your boxes when you recycle or compost them!
We know how difficult it can be to tell how much of an impact what you are buying has on the environment, and what effect switching to a more sustainable product has, so we have found out and compiled all of this information for you below.
The Paper Tape replaces conventional plastic sticky tapes such as cellotape and parcel tape.
The tape is made from recyclable Kraft paper, and a natural, compostable rubber adhesive.
Just think of how much plastic sticky tape you’ve used in the past – for most people it’s going to be a lot. The problem is plastic tape can’t be recycled – instead it either ends up in landfill or burnt for energy recovery. Added to the environmental impact of producing plastics, plastic tape just isn’t sustainable. This Paper Tape provides a sustainable, eco-friendly alternative that is fully recyclable and compostable.
The tape doesn’t come in any packaging.
The Paper Tape should be left on any boxes or paper and placed in your household recycling. It can be composted too, although by recycling the tape (along with the paper or card it’s attached to) the paper could be used up to seven more times!
When you have used up the roll, the cardboard centre can be placed in your household recycling.
