Environmental Details
We know how difficult it can be to tell how much of an impact what you are buying has on the environment, and what effect switching to a more sustainable product has, so we have found out and compiled all of this information for you below.
The Reer baby changing bag replaces baby bags that are made from virgin plastic.
The baby changing bag is 100% made from recycled plastic bottles.
The vast majority of bags out there are made using virgin plastic - that's new plastic that has just been produced. The problem is, there is already loads of plastic already out there, heading to landfill or polluting our environment. That's where Reer stepped in. They decided to make their baby changing bags using recycled plastic, giving a new and long life to recycled plastic bottles. By using recycled plastic, they are helping to reduce the impact that plastic has on the environment, and preserve the world for your baby's future.
The bag is packaged with a recyclable cardboard sleeve. Please note, the sleeve is currently sealed with plastic tape. We are working with Reer to remove the tape in the future.
The baby changing bag is designed to last, so if you no longer need it, consider passing it on to somebody else, or donating it to charity. If you do need to dispose of it, you may be able to recycle it at your local household recycling centre (just check with your local authority first), or using a scheme such as TerraCycle.
