We know how difficult it can be to tell how much of an impact what you are buying has on the environment, and what effect switching to a more sustainable product has, so we have found out and compiled all of this information for you below.
The reusable Christmas crackers replace single use crackers and crackers that contain plastic gifts and are packaged in plastic.
The crackers are made from sustainably sourced card printed with vegetable-based inks. The ribbons are made from rPET sourced from recycled plastic bottles.
The amount of unnecessary plastic that is used at Christmas is staggering, with an estimated 35,877 tonnes of plastic being wasted each Christmas in the UK alone. With their cheap plastic toys and unnecessary packaging, crackers have always added to that waste. That's where these reusable Christmas crackers are different. By switching to reusable crackers, you are eliminating any waste and will help save money over time compared to buying single use crackers. As you can also fill them with gifts that are personalised to each of your guests, this helps ensure that the gifts have meaning and won’t be discarded, helping prevent unnecessary waste.
The Christmas crackers are packaged in a recyclable cardboard wallet which is designed to be used to store the crackers between use. Full instructions are printed on the inside of the cardboard wallet.
When you have finished with the crackers, they are 100% recyclable and compostable. Just place them in your household recycling bin or in your compost bin. The ribbon can be recycled with plastics in your household bin or at your local household recycling centre.

We also use Parcelforce Worldwide in partnership with General Logistics Systems (GLS) to deliver our customer orders to our European customers and where it’s more cost effective and in line with our environmental values, we use DHL Parcel UK.
We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
