The Orange and Grapefruit Soap Bar from Friendly Soap is handmade in Yorkshire using the traditional cold process method. Friendly Soap carefully select their ingredients to ensure their soaps only contain the most gentle and skin loving oils and butters. The Soap Bar produces a rich, creamy and velvety lather that is gentle and nourishing for your skin.
The citrusy essential oils in the Orange and Grapefruit Soap provide your skin with a healthy boost of antioxidants and vitamin C. They have also been shown to improve the blood flow to your skin, as well as promote your body’s collagen production.
Friendly Soap pride themselves on putting ethics before profits, and these values are at the heart of everything they do. All of their soaps are cruelty free, and ‘Leaping Bunny’ approved by Cruelty Free International. They are accredited as Vegan friendly by The Vegan Society, and carry the Ethical Consumer Best Buy Label. Their eco credentials even go as far as only using olive oil from a company that guarantees not to use the super-intensive, night-time harvesting methods that leads to a great number of bird deaths! They really have considered every aspect of their business and supply chain to ensure that they operate as ethically and eco-friendly as possible.

Friendly Soap's Handmade Soap Bars replace liquid soaps and shower gels that are contained in plastic bottles and bars of soap that are wrapped in plastic. They are also a replacement for soaps that contain palm oil and chemicals such as parabens and SLS, and soaps which are made from animal derived ingredients.
Friendly Soap only use natural ingredients in their soap bars. The Orange and Grapefruit Soap Bar contains: Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Olivate, Aqua, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Capsicum Annuum (Paprika) Fruit Powder, Limonene*. *Naturally occurring components in essential oils Please note, we are not the manufacturer of the products sold on our website. A lot of mass produced soaps are packaged in single use plastic, whether that is liquid soap in plastic bottles, or bars of soap in plastic wrappers. Soaps also often contain harmful chemicals such as parabens or SLS, and ingredients such as palm oil, which if not farmed sustainably, can have a devastating impact on the environment. The Handmade Soap from Friendly Soap on the other hand is completely plastic free, contains only natural ingredients and is 100% palm oil free.
The Soap Bar is packaged in a recycled and recyclable cardboard box.

Delivery
We use Royal Mail to deliver our customer orders to our customers in the UK, Europe and the Rest of the World. We also use Parcelforce Worldwide in partnership with General Logistics Systems (GLS) to deliver our customer orders to our European customers and where it’s more cost effective and in line with our environmental values, we use DHL Parcel UK.
We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
