We know how difficult it can be to tell how much of an impact what you are buying has on the environment, and what effect switching to a more sustainable product has, so we have found out and compiled all of this information for you below.
The Wooden Squeegee replaces plastic squeegees.
The handle is made from FSC Certified Beechwood, whilst the blade is made from 100% silicone.
A plastic squeegee is just another peice of unneccessary plastic in your home. The blades of plastic squeegees are often difficult to separate from the handles, making them difficult to recycle when they break. The Wooden Squeegee provides a sustainable alternative. It is made completely from sustainable materials, and is extremely hardwearing, so should last for years.
The Squeegee is 100% packaging free!
The Squeegee should last for a very long time, however, should you need to dispose of it, simply separate the components. The handle can be composted or recycled with wood at your local recycling centre. The metal that holds the Squeegee blade can be recycled and the silicone blade itself is also fully recyclable.

We also use Parcelforce Worldwide in partnership with General Logistics Systems (GLS) to deliver our customer orders to our European customers and where it’s more cost effective and in line with our environmental values, we use DHL Parcel UK.
We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
