The Miniature Cast Iron Cookware Set replaces cookware that contains plastic, such as pans that have a plastic handle.
The Cookware Set is made from 100% hygienic grade cast iron.
Many pots and pans these days have plastic handles, which are not possible to recycle. This means that the handle needs to be removed should you need to dispose of the pan, which isn't always possible. Furthermore, many pots and pans also have a 'non-stick' coating, such as teflon, which at high temperatures can release toxins into the air and your food. The Cast Iron Cookware Set is completely plastic free, and can be easily recycled if needed. It doesn't have any toxic coatings, so you can cook away safe in the knowledge that no chemicals are being leached into your food.
The Cookware Set is packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. Please note, the box is currently sealed with plastic tape, which is something that we are talking to the manufacturer about.
The Cookware set is strong and durable, and should see you serving up culinary masterpieces for years to come. However, if you do need to dispose of it, as the Cookware Set is made from 100% cast iron, it can all easily be recycled at your local household recycling centre.

We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
