The Dog and I Natural Soothing Skin Salve is handmade in Dorset by Keri using only natural ingredients. The blend of Oils, Herbs and Beeswax help to sooth and heal your dogs skin, and is perfect for those looking for a natural alternative. The ingredients are specifically chosen for their skin healing properties.
The Salve only contains a small amount of dog friendly Essential Oils, in line with the recommended level for dogs (approximately half the level recommended for humans). Please note, as the Salve contains essential oils, it is not suitable for cats, puppies, or pregnant dogs.

The Dog and I Natural Soothing Skin Salve replaces dog skin salves and creams that contain synthetic chemicals and are often packaged in plastic.
The Dog and I Salve is handmade using 100% natural ingredients. It contains: Sweet Almond Oil (Infused With Plantain, Calendula, Comfrey, Yarrow, Rosemary), Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Patchouli Oil, Rosemary Oil. Please note, we are not the manufacturer of the products sold on our website. While we work to ensure that product information on our website is correct, manufacturers may alter their product information. A lot of store bought dog skincare products contain nasty chemicals such as parabens and SLS, which can actually be harmful to your dog's skin. Furthermore, they generally come packaged in single use plastic, which as we all know, just isn't good! The Dog and I Natural Soothing Skin Salve is completely different. It contains only natural ingredients which are good for the skin, and is completely plastic free!
The Salve is contained in a recyclable aluminium tin. The labels are currently made from plastic, however The Dog And I will be switching over to paper labels this year. There is also a plastic disk in the top of the lid to help protect the product.
When the tin is empty, remove the plastic label and disc and place the tin in with your household recycling.

We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
