We know how difficult it can be to tell how much of an impact what you are buying has on the environment, and what effect switching to a more sustainable product has, so we have found out and compiled all of this information for you below.
The Ramie Bath Puff replaces bath and shower puffs that are made from plastic.
The Bath Puff is made from Ramie, a natural plant based material that has been used to make cloths for thousands of years.
The majority of bath and shower puffs available are made from plastic. When they are used, they release micro-plastics, which wash down the drain and make their way into the ocean, where they pollute the environment. Added to the pollution created when making plastic, and the fact that plastic bath puffs cannot be recycled, they are extremely bad for the environment. Switching to a Ramie Bath Puff solves all of the problems caused by their plastic counterparts. Ramie is a natural, plant based material, with no plastic in sight. Any fibres that do get released won't harm the environment, and when you finally dispose of the bath puff, it's 100% compostable.
The Bath Puff has a small recyclable/compostable card label attached with string. Tear off the label and use the string to hang up the Bath Puff.
When it's finally time to dispose of your Bath Puff, it's 100% home compostable, so just place it in your compost bin.

Delivery

We also use Parcelforce Worldwide in partnership with General Logistics Systems (GLS) to deliver our customer orders to our European customers and where it’s more cost effective and in line with our environmental values, we use DHL Parcel UK.
We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
