Konjac Sponges are made from the root of a konjac, a plant found in Eastern Asia. They have been used in Japan and other Asian countries for thousands of years and are totally natural, Vegan friendly and plastic free.
When Konjac Sponges are dry they feel hard, but when wet they become soft and extremely gentle on the skin. The Sponges are ideal for those with sensitive skin, and are suitable for use with babies.
Konjac Sponges gently cleanse and exfoliate, leaving your skin soft and glowing. They are also ideal for applying and removing makeup.
To use your Konjac Sponge, first soak it in water until it becomes soft, then use circular motions to gently cleanse your face and skin. After use you should not wring the sponge out, instead hang it up to dry naturally. Konjac Sponges should be replaced every 2-3 months.

Konjac Sponges replace plastic based sponges.
Konjac Sponges are made from the root of the Konjac plant. The root is ground down into a powder which is mixed with water and baked until it becomes a soft sponge.
Unlike plastic sponges, which can't be recycled, a Konjac Sponge is zero waste. They are made from a plant, so are 100% compostable. They are also extremely gentle, perfect for exfoliating sensitive skin. In fact, they were originally used to clean babies, that's how soft and gentle they are!
The pack of four Konjac Sponges is packaged in a recyclable and compostable paper bag.
The Konjac Sponges are 100% home compostable, so just put it in your compost bin. It is recommended to replace your Konjac Sponge every two to three months.

We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
