The Save Some Green Bamboo Spatula is perfectly at home in the eco-friendly kitchen. Made from sustainable Bamboo, it is naturally lightweight, anti-bacterial and stain resistant. The spatula won’t scratch your pots and pans, but is extremely hard wearing.
We recommend handwashing the spatula to prolong its life. Given the right care, the spatula will last for years and far outlive its wooden and plastic counterparts.

We know how difficult it can be to tell how much of an impact what you are buying has on the environment, and what effect switching to a more sustainable product has, so we have found out and compiled all of this information for you below.
The Bamboo Spatula replaces plastic and wooden spatulas.
The Bamboo Spatula is made from (you guessed it!) Bamboo. Bamboo is an extremely sustainable material as it is very fast growing and requires no pesticides and little water. Bamboo can be harvested around every five years, when it will then regenerate itself to be harvested again.
Plastic kitchen utensils are difficult to dispose of as they are made from hard plastic, which isn't generally recycled. Furthermore, the production of plastic creates a lot of pollution. Add that to the problem of plastic waste pollution and you can see why plastic is so unsustainable. The Bamboo Spatula is far superior to its plastic counterparts on the sustainability front, but it's also superior to wooden spatulas. Bamboo is naturally anti bacterial, stain resistant and more hard wearing than wood. Growing bamboo is more sustainable than wood too, as bamboo is far quicker to grow and requires no pesticides and little water.

When it's finally time to dispose of your Bamboo Spatula, it is 100% home compostable, so just pop it on your compost pile.

Delivery

We also use Parcelforce Worldwide in partnership with General Logistics Systems (GLS) to deliver our customer orders to our European customers and where it’s more cost effective and in line with our environmental values, we use DHL Parcel UK.
We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
