We know how difficult it can be to tell how much of an impact what you are buying has on the environment, and what effect switching to a more sustainable product has, so we have found out and compiled all of this information for you below.
The Wooden Comb replaces combs made from plastic.
The comb is made from 100% sustainably sourced Peach Wood.
Unlike plastic combs, the Wooden Comb is 100% zero waste – when it's finally time to throw the comb away, it’s 100% compostable, as opposed to plastic combs which can be difficult to recycle so often end up in landfill. Plus there’s none of the environmental impact that comes with creating a plastic comb, so the Wooden Comb is better on all fronts. As well as the environmental benefits of the Wooden Comb, it is also better for your hair. Plastic and metal combs are harsh and can scrape and bruise the scalp, unlike wood which is far more gentle. Wood also doesn’t create static, which although provided endless fun as young children, is actually damaging to hair. The Wooden Comb helps to distribute your natural oils from your scalp all the way to the tips of your hair, resulting in healthier, shinier hair.
The Comb is 100% packaging free.
When the Comb has finally seen better days, it can be composted at home.

Delivery
We use Royal Mail to deliver our customer orders to our customers in the UK, Europe and the Rest of the World. We also use Parcelforce Worldwide in partnership with General Logistics Systems (GLS) to deliver our customer orders to our European customers and where it’s more cost effective and in line with our environmental values, we use DHL Parcel UK.
We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
