PATCH has developed the worlds first certified organic adhesive strip, providing a natural approach to wound care that is also 100% compostable. Made with soft, organic bamboo fabric and gauze, with hypoallergenic pressure sensitive adhesive, PATCH Activated Charcoal Plasters are perfect for those with sensitive skin.
The bamboo gauze acts as an oxygen agent, helping the skins natural healing process. The adhesive is made from a combination of natural minerals that have been applied with a nanotechnology process (like tiny suction cups), providing a gentle and kind adhesive that adheres to the skin without causing reactions.
The gauze contains activated charcoal, which helps to draw out impurities and infections from minor wounds. Activated charcoal is highly absorbent and works like a magnet for the impurities in the wound, assisting with the body’s natural healing of the wound. Once the impurities are drawn out, inflammation and redness is reduced, minimising the risk of infection and promoting safer healing of the wound.
Available in a pack of 25, the plasters are Vegan friendly and cruelty free. They contain no irritating chemicals, plastic or latex, allowing for suitable protection and soft support for sensitive skin types, and are ideal for those who are allergic to normal plasters.
Being suitable for home composting, there is no need for the plasters to be sent to landfill. They will break down in a matter of weeks, making them truly zero waste.
The plasters are 85mm x 19mm in size with a gauze length of 12.4mm. They are a Class 1 Sterile Medical Device, suitable for medical use.

PATCH Activated Charcoal Plasters replace normal plastic or fabric plasters.
The fabric and gauze in PATCH Activated Charcoal Plasters is made using 100% certified organic bamboo, whilst the hypoallergenic pressure sensitive adhesive is made from natural minerals and applied using nanotechnology. The backing paper is made from paper. The gauze also contains activated charcoal, which is held in place by a perforated cellulose layer.
You might not think it, but ordinary plasters contain or are wrapped in plastic. Even the fabric ones! So every time you use a plaster, you're contributing to unsustainable waste that will be around for years to come. Most plasters are also unsuitable for people with sensitive skin, containing chemicals (such as thimerosal, which contains mercury) in the adhesive that can cause contact dermatitis. This is where PATCH steps in. The plasters are 100% compostable after use, so they are 100% zero waste. They also don't contain any irritating chemicals, instead using a pressure sensitive adhesive that is made from natural minerals and applied with nanotechnology, almost like mini suction cups. Combined with the organic bamboo fabric and gauze, they are perfect for those with sensitive skin and allergies to plasters.
PATCH Activated Charcoal Plasters are available in a pack of 25, contained in a tube made from recycled cardboard. The individual plasters are wrapped in a sterile compostable film.
The plasters and their packaging are 100% home compostable, so pop them into your compost bin. The cardboard tube can be recycled or composted.
