Gone are the days where you need a disposable cup to have a drink on the go. Many establishments now allow you to bring your own cup, which is where the Huski Home Coffee Husk Travel Cup comes in.
The Travel Cup is made from recycled coffee husks, the external casing of a coffee bean that is removed and usually burned, causing an environmental hazard. Instead of the coffee husks being destined for the fire, Huski Home use them to create a durable, environmentally friendly, non-toxic material that is free from melamine, BPA and silicone.
The Cup has a leak proof lid and a non slip base, saving you from accidents and spills. It is perfect for both hot and cold beverages, on the go or at your desk. The twin walls keep your hot drinks warmer and your iced drinks cooler for up to 90 minutes.
The Huski Home Travel Cup is not suitable for dishwashers and should be hand washed only.

The Huski Home Coffee Husk Travel Cup replaces single use plastic and paper cups, and reusable cups made from plastic.
The Coffee Husk Cup is made from repurposed coffee husks (also known as coffee chaff), a by product of the coffee industry, which is mixed with polypropylene. Coffee husks are the green outer shell of a coffee bean, which is removed after the coffee is harvested. The coffee husks are then usually burned to dispose of them. As coffee is harvested on such a scale, the burning of coffee husks is particularly polluting to the atmosphere. Huski Home prevent coffee husks from being burned by repurposing them into the Travel Cup. Polypropylene is mixed with the coffee husks to bind them together. Huski Home use the least polypropylene possible without the coffee husks disintegrating. They have looked at lots of different materials to use to bind the coffee husks and have found polypropylene to be the most sustainable without leaching into the drink. The polypropylene is made from natural polyolefin resins, which allows it to biodegrade.
In the UK we use around 7 million disposable coffee cups every day. That's 2.5 billion every year! Despite being made from paper, most single use coffee cups are lined with a thin layer of plastic. This is to make the cup waterproof, but also makes them extremely difficult to recycle, so the vast majority of them end up in landfill, and 182 million of them end up polluting our streets, countryside and oceans every year. By switching to a reusable travel cup, you're preventing potentially thousands of single use cups going to landfill. You're also preventing waste coffee husks from being burned and harming the environment.
The Coffee Husk Travel Cup has a recyclable cardboard tag attached with natural, compostable twine.
The Coffee Husk Travel Cup is extremely hard wearing and should last for many years with the right care. The Cup isn't suitable for home composting, but will break down in industrial composters. The anti-slip disk at the bottom of the Cup must be removed first and placed in your normal household waste.

We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
