The Glass Baby Bottles from Hevea come complete with natural rubber nipples to provide a plastic free, non-toxic way to feed your baby. They are available in a pack of two 120ml (4oz) bottles or a pack of two 240ml (8oz) bottles.
The slow flow nipples on the 120ml bottles are suitable for 0-3 months, whilst the medium flow nipples on the 240ml bottles are suitable for 3-24 months. Both are suitable for milk and water, and have a well crafted screw thread and leak proof dust cover to avoid spills in your bag.
The glass bottles are far more hygienic than their plastic counterparts. The glass is non-leaching and will not react with the contents of the bottle, so no nasty chemicals will get into your baby’s food. Due to the non-porous surface of the glass, the bottles won’t retain flavours, smells and particles after being washed, so the bottle will never taste or smell of its previous contents. The bottles have a standard neck which means they are compatible with most breast pumps.
The rubber nipples are made from 100% sustainably sourced natural rubber. They are BPA, phthalates and PVC free, so you can rest assured that your baby is not being exposed to harmful chemicals. The nipples are moulded into a cheery shape in one piece, making them extremely hygienic as there are no seams and joins to harbour bacteria. They feature an anti-colic valve, reducing air intake during feeding, and are suitable for milk and water. The natural rubber is soft, durable and bite resistant.
The screw thread and leak-proof dust cover are made from non-toxic PP SM 340 plastic. This is the only plastic used on the bottle, and is there to ensure a leak proof seal.
