The Wooden Dish Drainer from ecoLiving is handmade in Germany using sustainably sourced beech wood. The Dish Drainers slatted design holds your plates securely, whilst the lower shelf is ideal for cups, mugs and saucers.
The Dish Drainer should be hand washed only and is not suitable for the dishwasher. Due to the handmade nature of the Dish Drainer, there may be some scratches and imperfections (which we feel adds to the character!).

The Wooden Dish Drainer replaces dish drainers that are made from plastic.
The Dish Drainer is made from sustainably sourced beech wood, and is held together using metal staples.
Dish drainers that are made from plastic are difficult or impossible to recycle when they reach the end of their usable life. This poses a problem as the plastic inevitably ends up in landfill, where it will slowly degrade over hundreds of years and release micro plastics that make their way into the environment. By using a Wooden Dish Drainer, which can be composted at the end of its life, you can ensure that when your Dish Drainer has seen better days, it can be disposed of in a sustainable way.
The Wooden Dish Drainer is 100% packaging free.
The Dish Drainer is well built and should last a long time, however, if you do need to dispose of it, you can simply seperate the parts, remove the staples and compost the wood. Alternatively, the Dish Drainer can be recycled in the wood section of your local waste disposal facility.

We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
