The ecoLiving Vintage Dustpan and Brush Set replaces dustpans and brushes made from plastic.
The handle is made from FSC Certified sustainable beechwood. The bristles are made from coconut fibres, otherwise known as coir. The pan is made from steel.
Most dustpans and brushes are made from plastic, and a lot aren't very long lasting. Even the bristles on most brushes are made from plastic. These bristles release plastic fibres over time, which can make their way into the environment. Combine that with how difficult these plastic pans and brushes are to recycle, and you can see why plastic dustpans and brushes just aren't a sustainable solution. Switching to a plastic free dustpan and brush solves these issues. The wooden handle and coconut fibre bristles come from renewable, sustainable resources, and the steel pan is easily recycled. The Dustpan and Brush Set is also very well built, and with the right care, will last for generations.
The Dustpan and Brush Set is packaging free. The recyclable card tag is attached with natural, compostable string.
The Dustpan and Brush Set is incredibly well built and will last for a very long time if looked after. If you do need to dispose of it though, the handle and bristles can be composted at home and the pan can be recycled.

We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
