The Bread and Produce Bag measures 38cm high x 28cm wide and weighs 34 grams (1.2 ounces). It can be machine washed on a gentle cycle at 30°C and line dried. Please note, as the Bag is made from natural material, it can shrink around 10% from the original size when washed.

The ecoLiving Bread and Produce Bag replaces plastic produce bags.
The Bag is made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton.
We all know the devastation caused to the environment by plastic bags. It's a common sight to see bags blowing in the wind, caught up in trees and floating down streams. Plastic bags cause great harm to wildlife, who commonly mistake them for food, often with fatal consequences. It can take over 1000 years for a plastic bag to break down, and unfortunately during this time, they degrade into smaller and smaller pieces known as microplastics. These microplastics end up being washed into our rivers and oceans, where they continue to pollute the environment and contaminate the food chain. Even reusable plastic bags cause a problem. They don't last for every, and no matter how careful you are with their disposal, it's difficult to know that they won't end up polluting the environment. Due to their extremely lightweight nature, they can easily be blown from the bins, lorries and facilities that make up the recycling system. Ditching plastic bags from your shopping routine is one of the easiest steps you can make to leading a more eco-friendly life. The Reusable Cotton Produce Bag is the perfect replacement, and will far outlive a plastic bag. Plus, when it does reach the end of its life, it's so simple to recycle or compost, where it will break down without a trace.

Delivery
We use Royal Mail to deliver our customer orders to our customers in the UK, Europe and the Rest of the World. We also use Parcelforce Worldwide in partnership with General Logistics Systems (GLS) to deliver our customer orders to our European customers and where it’s more cost effective and in line with our environmental values, we use DHL Parcel UK.
We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
