Made with 70% cellulose and 30% cotton, these plastic free, Vegan friendly cloths are 100% compostable. They are printed with water-based inks and are available as a two pack with a kangaroos and kangaroos/koalas design, or as a two pack with a koalas and kangaroos/koalas design.
Unlike conventional sponge cloths, these cloths do not emit micro-plastic pollution. They are highly absorbent, durable and reusable. To get more life out of the cloths, they can be washed in the washing machine at 30-60c and line dried, to be reused over and over again. Once you have finished with them, they are suitable for home composting.
The cloths are made in Europe and are 172 mm wide by 200 mm high.

The Compostable Sponge Cloths replace conventional sponge cloths which are made from plastic.
The Compostable Sponge Cloths are made with 70% cellulose and 30% cotton.
Conventional sponge cloths from the supermarket are often made from plastic, and as such release micro plastics when they are used. These micro plastics get washed down the drain, where they eventually make their way into the ocean, polluting the environment and harming aquatic life. Conventional cloths cannot be recycled, instead ending up in landfill, where they remain for a very long time. The Compostable Sponge Cloths, however, are totally plastic free, instead being made from plant based materials. Using them won't harm the environment, and they can be composted after use, leaving no trace behind.
The cloths are packaged with a recyclable card sleeve.
When the cloths have seen better days they can be home composted.

We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly.
