When combined with a Laundry Egg, these pellets from ecoegg provide a unique, eco-friendly way to do your laundry. Once the pellets in your Laundry Egg have fallen below the halfway line of the larger pointed end of the egg, you can replace them with this Refill Pack, allowing you to use your egg over and over again.
The Refill Pack contains two types of natural mineral pellets, completely removing the need for laundry detergents and fabric conditioners. As the pellets contain no harsh chemicals, they are much kinder to both the planet and your skin.
The natural pellets are non-biological and don’t contain any palm oil, SLS, parabens, petrochemicals, enzymes, phosphates or microplastics. They work in combination with the water to draw out dirt from your clothing fibres and soften your clothes by changing the pH, leaving your laundry clean and fresh without using harmful chemical laden detergents. They are suitable for people with sensitive skin and hold the Allergy Friendly Product Award from Allergy UK. They are also Vegan friendly and cruelty free.
The Fresh Linen fragrance of the pellets is a clean fresh scent with hints of crisp citrus fruit and gentle florals, rounded off with undertones of soft musk and delicate herbs.

When combined with an ecoegg Laundry Egg, these pellets replace laundry detergents and fabric conditioners.
The natural mineral pellets contain: Anionic Surfactants > 30%, Non-Ionic Surfactants > 5% - 15%, Sodium Carbonate > 11 %, Sodium Metasilicate > 11 %, Calcium Carbonate > 10%, Perfume.
Most laundry detergents and fabric conditioners contain harsh, harmful chemicals. These chemicals can cause damage to the environment and are also harmful to your skin. The ecoegg Laundry Egg contains no nasty chemicals, instead using natural mineral pellets to clean your clothes. These pellets are far more environmentally friendly and are also kind to your skin. The Laundry Egg can also work out cheaper than laundry detergents - when buying a refill pack, each wash costs only 9p!
The ecoegg Laundry Egg Refill Pellets are packaged in an FSC approved, recyclable cardboard box that is printed with environmentally friendly, vegetable based inks. The box is sealed with a plastic label, and the pellets themselves are contained in a recyclable plastic bag. The manufacturer is working on an environmentally friendly alternative, but in the meantime, place the bag in your recycling bin if your local authority allows you to, or recycle it with carrier bags at the supermarket.
When you replace the pellets, the old pellets need to be placed in your general waste bin.
