It’s estimated that more than 1.2 billion metres of single-use cling film is used by households across Britain every year. To help put that into perspective, that’s 745,645 miles, which is enough to wrap the earth approximately 30 times!
There is a saying that goes “used once, lasts forever” and that couldn’t be truer of traditional cling film! Traditional cling film is near impossible to recycle, meaning the majority of it ends up in landfills where it will take hundreds of years to breakdown, and once in our waterways and in our oceans, eventually breaking down to microplastics that make their way into our seafood.
While cling film is regularly used to cover up food, cling film has become a staple product for covering up fresh tattoos, paintbrushes and other items that require a versatile covering.
The Compostable Cling Film is made from 97% PBAT and 3% PLA, which are completely natural, plant-based materials, helping you feel safe knowing that you can store food in the fridge or freezer without any harmful chemicals leaching into your food and unlike other alternative products like Wax Wraps, you can use The Compostable Cling Film to wrap raw meat and it’s safe to use in the microwave.

The Compostable Cling Film is made from 97% PBAT and 3% PLA, which are completely natural, plant-based materials.
Unlike traditional cling film made from plastic that is almost impossible to recycle, the Compostable Cling Film is 100% home and industrial compostable and once you’ve finished using the Cling Film, there is zero waste as the cling film completely breaks down.
The Compostable Cling Film is packaged in a recyclable cardboard box.
Once you’ve finished with the Compostable Cling Film, you can place the it into your compost bin, and the cardboard packaging into your household recycling bin.

We also use Parcelforce Worldwide in partnership with General Logistics Systems (GLS) to deliver our customer orders to our European customers and where it’s more cost effective and in line with our environmental values, we use DHL Parcel UK.
We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
