The Compostable Bin Liners from Eco Green Living are perfect to keep your bin clean and tidy. They are much stronger than other compostable bin liners on the market and are suitable for all of your compostable waste such as food and plants.
The Bin Liners are breathable, allowing any moisture in your waste to evaporate. This allows the contents of your bin dry out, helping to prevent mould formation and significantly reducing odours and smells too. The bags act as an effective barrier to viruses, bacteria, spores and mould, keeping your bin clean and free of nasties.
The Bin Liners are made from 100% non-edible organic material, meaning that nothing is wasted and no precious resources are diverted away from becoming food. As they are plastic free, they don’t release any microplastics when they break down.
Please note, the Compostable Bin Liners should be used within 12 months of purchase.

The Eco Green Living Compostable Bin Liners replace conventional bin bags and liners made from plastic.
The Compostable Bin Liners are made from thistles and plant starch, 100% natural and renewable resources.
Conventional bin bags that are made from plastic take hundreds of years to break down in landfill, and when they do, they release microplastics which end up washing into the oceans, contaminating the food chain. This is in addition to the pollution caused by plastic production and extracting the oil that the plastic is made from. Compostable Bin Liners on the other hand are made from plants. They don't release any microplastics and and compost down within a few months, returning back to nature. The Bags are made from the non-edible part of plants grown for food, turning what would otherwise be a waste product into something useful.
The Bin Liners are packaged with a recyclable and compostable paper band.
The Compostable Bin Liners are 100% home compostable, so when full of compostable material, they can be placed into your compost bin. Alternatively, they can be placed directly into your food waste collection bin if your local council offer this service.

We also use Parcelforce Worldwide in partnership with General Logistics Systems (GLS) to deliver our customer orders to our European customers and where it’s more cost effective and in line with our environmental values, we use DHL Parcel UK.
We have done extensive research into different delivery companies and have found Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide (a part of the Royal Mail Group), GLS (also a part of the Royal Mail Group) and in select areas, DHL to be the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly. We constantly review our delivery options to ensure what we offer continues to be cost effective for our customers, whilst remaining true to our environmental values.
